Hinkley Supply Chain Business Support Tender Open

July Update – now closed

The Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership is advertising a contract opportunity for the Hinkley Point C Supply Chain – deadline midday17 July. An interim business support service is required to continue to build the capability of South West Businesses to access supply chain opportunities arising from the construction phase.

The successful supplier is required to provide and broker targeted business growth and readiness support so that businesses located within the HotSW LEP area are better placed to take advantage of HPC contracts with EDFE and its industrial partners.

The full tender application is available at this link, and the deadline is 18 July.

Hinkley Point Supply Chain activity has been identified as a priority within the LEP’s Strategic Economic Plan and European Structural Investment Funds Strategy, with the   intention that there will be an ESIF call for a longer term programme of support across the whole of the LEP area and potentially wider.

This procurement is to cover the short-term gap in provision, with the intention that a longer term activity will be commissioned via the ERDF open call process for 2016 and beyond.
